Kristin has gone above and beyond this year — supporting Kindergarten Playdates, leading the All-School Playdate, helping with Trunk or Treat, and most impressively… organizing our incredible Harvest Parties!
She carried on the Party In A Box tradition with her own creative flair — introducing awesome new games and crafts that our students loved. Thanks to Kristin’s thoughtful planning and smart budgeting, Thomas Elementary now has Harvest Party games and crafts that will be enjoyed for years to come.
We’re so grateful for the time, care, and heart you put into everything you do, Kristin. Thank you for helping make Thomas such a fun and connected community!

You two have gone above and beyond to take care of our amazing teachers and show just how much the Thomas Elementary community appreciates them! From stocking the teacher’s lounge for Back to School, to organizing two nights of meals during conferences with Discover Church and Black Dog Pizza, to already planning holiday treats, complimentary chair massages, and a “Favorite Things” list for gift ideas — you’re making sure our teachers feel the love all year long.
Thank you for taking care of the teachers who take such great care of our small people.
A huge shout-out to Sara Rumph for leading the charge on the Trunk or Treat event this year! Your creativity, organization, and enthusiasm made everything come together perfectly.

A huge shout-out to our incredible volunteers (and their kids) for creating class party boxes for the entire school last night! Every classroom will receive a “party in a box” complete with games, craft and snacks! You’ve made it so simple for teachers and volunteers to celebrate and enjoy the Harvest Parties. We can’t thank you enough for your time and efforts to help make every celebration special!
And to Kristin White thank you, thank you, thank you! You have done so much work behind the scenes to make this happen and we are so grateful for you!
Janelle Collins, THANK YOU for leading our Fall Flower Sale with such dedication and heart! Your organization and hard work made it a "blooming success"! After 3 years in the role of PTO Co-President you have continued to volunteer and stay involved, even taking the afternoon off of work to help distribute flowers! We appreciate you! 😍 Thanks to your efforts our fall flower sale raised $2800 for the school. These funds will go to events such as staff appreciation, social events or field trips. We appreciate your support of our Tiger community!

A HUGE THANK YOU to our PTO Executive Board members who volunteered last week to answer questions and represent the PTO at the back-to-school walk through! This small (but mighty) group worked together so that they could meet their kids teachers AND represent the PTO, sell spirit-wear, etc.
This group accomplishes many, many things and they not only give their time and energy to our school, they also share their passions and talents - all while having A LOT of fun together!

Blair, the owner of a local small shop Toast and Wishes stationery donatated not one but two beautiful hand painted banners to our PTO last week to welcome everyone to the new school year. We truly appreciate your kindness!

How amazing was it to just pick your child’s grade, pay online, and have all the school supplies delivered right to the school gym? Total game-changer!
Thanks to Lisa’s hard work, not only was the process super easy for families, but she also helped raise $366 for the PTO!

Our Thomas Tigers showed up to represent Thomas Elementary at the Dublin Irish Festival! 25 hours and 35 amazing humans spent their time pouring cold drinks and raising money for our school! We cannot say thank you enough! We are so glad this was such a fun experience for those that volunteered!

The 5th Grade Celebration Committee was small but mightly! We are deeply grateful for all of your hard work and generous spirits. You rallied together to give the 5th Grade class such a memorable and special day! From the Disco Glow Party to an incredible slideshow, our 5th Graders were celebrated and feeling the love!

Another wildly successful Spring Flower Sale thanks to Heather Lovell! We sold 616 plants and raised over $3K for our school! Also a huge shout out goes to our wonderful PTO volunteers that helped with distribution on a hot Friday night!
Heather, your time, energy, and dedication during our flower sale are what made this fundraiser such a success! You always go above and beyond for our school. And we can't say THANK YOU enough! Whether you were setting up, organizing flowers, or helping behind the scenes, your contributions truly made a difference! You even use personal funds to treat our volunteers with Starbucks cards as your way of saying Thank You!
We know it was an exhausting evening, but you are so very appreciated!
This busy lady and momma of EIGHT is the Fundraising Queen!
Heather Lovell has served on the PTO Executive Board as the VP of Fundraising for 3 years, and was the Recording Secretary before that. She has a heart of gold, and has spent countless hours giving back to our school. She is literally a one woman show and we cannot thank Heather enough for her incredible dedication to Thomas!
Thanks to Heather's efforts we have raised over $50K to benefit our school. Her time, energy, and fundraising efforts have made such a meaningful impact at Thomas and EVERY student has benefited! We are truly grateful.
In Fall of 2025, Heather will be stepping down as the VP of Fundraising, but promises to continue to stay involved with PTO in her final year with a kiddo in elementary school. She leaves VERY big shoes to fill! If you or someone you know is interested in getting involved in the PTO please reach out!
Thank you Janelle Collins for your time, dedication, and heart in serving on the PTO on the Executive Board for the past 5 YEARS!!! 2 years spent in the Treasurer role, and for the past 3 years Janelle has served as Co-President! Your hard work has made a real difference in our school community, and we are so grateful for everything you've done—whether helping to organize events, supporting staff and students, or simply showing up with a smile.
In the '25-'26 school year, Janelle will be stepping down from her roles on the Executive Board. Lucky for us Janelle will still be a parent / volunteer at Thomas Elementary and she has even agreed to chair the Fall & Spring Flower sales! We truly appreciate you!
Jamie Neely, our fabulous VP of Socials is definetely the magic maker at Thomas Elementary! She is the reason we have events like Trunk or Treat and Family Fun Night! She has served on the Executive Board at Thomas since 2019, and during these years Jamie has given back to our Thomas community in countless ways! In the '25-'26 school year, Jamie will be stepping down from her role on the Exec. Board. She leaves some very big shoes to fill, but lucky for us Jamie will still be at Thomas in the front office, and as a parent/volunteer!
The PTO cannot thank Jamie enough for her passion and committment to our school! We are so grateful for the time she has given, for her organization skills and for her excellent party planning abilities!
Thank you to Dana Marie Norrod for organizing Parent / Teacher Conference Night Dinners in February! These are very long days for our teachers & staff so spoiling them is something the PTO loves to do! Thank you Dana for making this happen!
On February 20th staff enjoyed smoothies and a wrap / salad from Tropical Smoothie Cafe and on February 26th they were treated to a meal from Chick-fil-A!

And Julie Kinzel, yet again knocked it out of the park with her detailed planning and preparation for the Winter Parties for ALL classes at Thomas. The students enjoy these special experiences so much, and we have Julie to thank for making it possible!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Heather Lovell for coordinating every last detail of our Fall Mum Sale! This is a wonderful chance for our families to purchase mums knowing proceeds from the sale directly support Thomas. The pick-up was seamlessly organized and we can't thank you enough for ALL of your efforts!
Our newest volunteer spotlight goes to Julie Kinzel. She has been interested in re-vamping and bringing back a more organized, equitable and FUN way to celebrate with class parties at Thomas. Julie researched, planned, organized, purchased (spending many, many hours!) and with the help of other committed volunteers to assemble, made the Party-in-a-Box happen! Each teacher received a box with all the supplies and instructions needed to play games, facilitate crafts, and have a snack on Harvest Party Day. Julie, thank you for being so kind, organized, caring, and committed to the students and families at Thomas! We appreciate you 😊
"Super Mario" did it again! Our fabulous VP of Socials, Jamie Neely planned our 3rd Annual Trunk of Treat. It was an amazing night at Thomas; and one that would not have been possible without YOU!
Countless hours were spent planning. Jamie made improvements based on feedback, collected prizes, solicited donations, booked food trucks and the DJ. Every last detail was considered and excuted! Your efforts are so very appreciated!
Our Thomas Elementary family, and especially our Outdoor Classroom committee, have been working on our “passion project” of an outdoor classroom for years. Lots of $$$$ raised, lots of delays and set-backs AND lots of love have been put into this Outdoor Classroom.
PLANTING DAY was a magical day. Our Thomas Community came together to sweat, work, and dance our way to a beautiful Outdoor Classroom.
NOW it’s ready for some inspiring Outdoor Learning.

The students and staff are very thankful for the volunteer efforts of Ms. Kim and Ms. Angel, as they took several hours every Friday out of their busy schedules this year to open the Thomas School Store to our Tigers. From ordering the coolest items, to inventorying and stocking the shelves, to supporting students in purchasing, these wonderful volunteers invested a tremendous amount of time to support some extra fun in our community. WE APPRECIATE YOU, Ms. Kim and Ms. Angel! Thank you!

Not only does Kristen love to volunteer in school, but she spends MANY, many hours behind the scenes as our Communications Secretary. Kristen is super talented and makes all of the creative PTO Facebook posts, flyers, newsletters, and emails you receive. She has majorly updated the PTO website this year and continues to amaze us with her commitment, generosity, & selflessness.

I would like to nominate Diana Munoz. She is so much fun, and really down to earth with the kids. Even helping out in other classrooms that needed extra volunteers. Here is a picture of her at one of the events. Literally getting kids involved hands-on… Such a great person to have a part of the school! Her excitement and enthusiasm is contagious!
