Nominations and Elections

You can email the form to DCSGTEPTO@GMAIL.COM or turn in a printed copy to the Front Office at Thomas Elementary.

Voting will take place during the final PTO General Meeting of the school year on May 13th at 6 PM.

If more than one person is nominated for an Executive Board Officer position (and they do not wish to share the position), then officers shall be chosen by a majority of the PTO members present at the meeting.

ABSOLUTELY!!! The more, the merrier!  Ideally, we'd love to have at least two people in each position to share the work.

All you have to do is fill out a separate nomination form for each person you nominate.  (And give yourself a pat on the back for being amazing and knowing and nominating other awesome people!)

YES!!! So much yes!!! Many of these positions (especially the Committee Chair positions) are not year round, or do not involve many hours of active volunteer time.  We've had Vice Presidents be Event Committee Chairs.  We've had Spirit Wear Chairs lead School Supplies.  You name it - we've done it!
